 Vera Lyagonova, a first-year student of the UNN Institute of Economics, made a report at the panel “Foreign Languages and Regional Studies” of the 32nd International Scientific Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Researchers “Lomonosov-2025”.

Her report entitled “Features of localisation of film titles in Russia and South Korea: a comparative analysis” was prepared at the Department of English for Humanities (UNN Faculty of Philology and Journalism) under the supervision of Associate Professor Irina Parina.

The study addresses the differences in approaches to the localisation of English-language film titles in Russian and South Korean film distribution. These differences are influenced by both linguistic and cultural, as well as economic factors.

The conference is hosted annually by Lomonosov Moscow State University.
