UNN student wins bronze at Vocotruyen World Championship
The world championship in traditional Vietnamese martial arts (Vocotruyen) was held in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) from 1 to 6 August, welcoming athletes from 14 countries.
Nadir Alibegov, a student of the UNN Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, took third place and a bronze medal, making his contribution to the Russian national team's medals.
The Russian national team finished the 2024 Vocotruyen World Championship in Vietnam second in the overall medal standings. Russian fighters won a total of 12 medals across various events - four gold, three silver and five bronze medals.
