Olga Shlykova, a student of the UNN Institute of Economics, took second place at the International Olympiad on Financial Security.

The 4th International Olympiad on Financial Security was held at the Sirius Federal Territory starting from 30 September. The finalists included about 600 participants from 36 countries. Based on the results, 28 school students from Russia and 138 university students (82 from Russia and 56 from foreign countries) became winners and prize-winners.

“The Olympiad has brought new knowledge, advanced experience, and amazing emotions! The tasks assigned to us required analytical thinking, creativity and the ability to find non-standard solutions in complex situations in a short time. I believe that the experience gained at the Olympiad will allow me to realize new solutions and move towards my goal,” Olga shared her impressions.

During the five days of the final stage, school and university students attended dozens of events: lectures, interactive workshops, master classes, panel discussions, “Talks about important things”, quizzes, contests, the festival of Russian folk games, the opening of the exhibition “Culture and Traditions of the Peoples of Siberia” and sports competitions.

The International Olympiad on Financial Security has been held since 2021 under the patronage of the President of Russia and the Government of the Russian Federation. This year, representatives of 36 countries reached the finals of the Olympiad.
