UNN student wins silver in All-Russian Greco-Roman wrestling competition

Evgeny Baydusov, a student of the UNN Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, won a silver medal at the 49th All-Russian wrestling tournament in memory of Fyodor Poletaev, Hero of the Soviet Union and National Hero of Italy. The tournament was held on February 19-20 in Ryazan. 136 athletes from 25 regions of Russia competed for awards in the "Greco-Roman Wrestling" discipline in ten weight categories. Evgeny, who is a second-year student at the Department of theory and methodology of martial arts, came second in the weight category of 77 kg.
