Staff members and students of the UNN Institute of Economics took part in a meeting of the Export Council of the Nizhny Novgorod region, held at the Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Corporation. The event was chaired by Dmitry Starostin, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region and attended by representatives of business and government.

The delegation from the UNN Institute of Economics, which included Deputy Director Elena Ludushkina and Head of the Department of World Economy and Customs Maria Gorbunova, was led by Oleg Trofimov, Rector of Lobachevsky University. They discussed issues related to cooperation in training personnel for foreign trade in the Nizhny Novgorod region with the event participants. The Institute was represented by students from the programmes "Business and Finance Management," "International Business," and "World Economy," including Jasjyot Kaur, Sandeep Sharma, Valodia Da Silva Morreira, and Anthony Javier Farfan Montero.

During the meeting, Indian students from Lobachevsky University shared their perspective on the export potential of Nizhny Novgorod companies in the Indian market and talked about possible regional partners for the Nizhny Novgorod region, such as Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu.

The UNN Institute of Economics offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programmes in English, including:

- Bachelor's programme in Economics with a focus on World Economy (econ.unn.ru)
- Master's programme in Management with a focus on Business and Finance Management (mbf.unn.ru)

These English-language programmes are also open to Russian students, helping them gain additional skills and enhance their competitiveness in the job market.
