UNN students to take part in the 29th Summer Universiade

Four Nizhni Novgorod students will participate in the World Universiade – 2017. According to the press service of the Ministry of Sport of the Nizhni Novgorod region, badminton players Anastasia Chervyakova and Rodion Kargaev (both from Lobachevsky University), as well as  tennis player Ekaterina Guseva and swimmer Mikhail Dorinov will take part in the 29th Summer Universiade which will be held in the Taiwanese city of Taipei from 19 to 30 August.

In addition, three more Nizhni Novgorod sportsmen are included in the expanded list of the Russian national team. Olga Golovanova and Alexander Kuvarin can compete in weightlifting, and Sergei Marikhin from the basketball club "Nizhni Novgorod" has good chances to play for the Russian national basketball team.
