UNN students win medals at Sambo Championship

Lobachevsky University students took four medals at the Volga Federal District Junior Sambo Championship held in Kstovo.

Daniil Zhalilov (Institute of Clinical Medicine) became the winner of the championship in sport sambo, Ilya Tavankov (Faculty of Physical Education and Sports) got the bronze medal.

In combat sambo, Ivan Zaitsev (Faculty of Physical Education and Sports) won gold, Maxim Rogozhin (Faculty of Physical Education and Sports) received a silver medal.

The next stage for the athletes will be the Championship of Russia.
