UNN students win the All-Russian Olympiad in laser and plasma technology physics

4th-year students of the UNN Advanced School of General and Applied Physics (ASGAP) Arseny Sorokin, Sergey Ilyichev and Dmitry Yasnov have won the team competition in the All-Russian Olympiad in laser and plasma technology physics. The Olympiad was held at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI from 13 to 15 April, 2018. In the individual competition, Arseny Sorokin took the third place. ASGAP students Nikolai Kalinin, Ivan Ryabinin and Kirill Karpov received diplomas of the Olympiad winners. The team of Lobachevsky University was headed by Associate Professor Andrey Kochetov. A total of 53 students representing 8 universities took part in this scientific Olympiad.
