UNN study programmes showcased at educational exhibition in Kazakhstan

Lobachevsky University took part in the third educational exhibition/presentation "Study in Russia", traditionally held at the Russian House in Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan). More than 30 top Russian universities participated in this exhibition. The main purpose of the event was to inform the young people of the Republic of Kazakhstan about the opportunities offered by Russian universities and Rossotrudnichestvo.  Lobachevsky University was represented by Ekaterina Skotnikova, International Relations Specialist of the UNN Office for International Advancement and Competitiveness Analysis, and Pavel Agrba, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Office.

During the exhibition, applicants from Kazakhstan were introduced to the programmes implemented at UNN, learned about the admission procedures for government-funded and self-financed education and the possibility of admission through Olympiads. Currently, the most popular fields of study at Lobachevsky University among applicants from Kazakhstan are Physics, Radiophysics, IT, Medicine and International Relations. Applicants named affordable tuition fees, a wide range of educational programmes, high quality of education, geographical location and guaranteed accommodation in university dormitories as the main advantages of studying at Lobachevsky University.
