Lobachevsky University's IITMM students Maxim Emelin, Valeria Ryabchikova and Ilya Khlyustov have won the second degree diploma at the preliminary stage and will represent the Northern Eurasia region in the finals of the ICPC 2021 International Collegiate Programming Contest.

We would like to thank coaches Alexey Shmelev and Vladislav Epifanov, and the team supervisor Nikolay Borisov for preparation and support of our participants.

The International Collegiate Programming Contest is an algorithmic programming contest for college students. Teams of three, representing their university, work to solve real-world problems, fostering collaboration, creativity, innovation, and the ability to perform under pressure. Through training and competition, teams challenge each other to raise the bar on the possible. ICPC is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world. The rules of the competition can be found on the website.
