From July 21 to August 3, Lobachevsky University will host an international youth camp for philology students from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event will be held at the UNN Institute of Philology and Journalism on the initiative and with the support of the Russian World Foundation.

This year, 20 students and 2 teachers from universities in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina will take part in the programme aimed at supporting and developing the training of future teachers of Russian language and literature abroad.

As part of the programme, the guests will participate in lectures delivered by leading professors from the Institute of Philology and Journalism. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region through guided tours, delving into the region’s cultural and historical heritage, as well as enjoying a diverse educational and cultural agenda.

This international youth camp for philology students marks the continuation of a long-standing partnership between UNN and universities in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has been successfully developing since 2015, thanks to the support of the Serbian Centre at Lobachevsky University.

The international event will also serve as a basis for establishing new partnerships and collaborative projects.
