UNN to take part in the conference “Digitalization of Industrial Russia”
Lobachevsky University will be once again taking part in the conference “Digitalization of Industrial Russia” (CIPR). It will be held from 21 to 24 May 2024 at the Nizhniy Novgorod Trade Fair. CIPR is the main business event on the digital economy in Russia and for many years has been facilitating dialog between representatives of the government and the business community on the digital transformation of society and key sectors of the economy. One of the highlights in the extensive programme will be the session "Big Economy of Big Data. Trends or Wastes?". The session will be held with the support of Lobachevsky University under the #CIPR_BLACK track and will focus on the impact of big data and AI on the transformation of the education system and working with young people, the development of the economy, business and society as a whole.
The event is part of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of higher economic education at Lobachevsky University and the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The discussion participants will share their vision of the most significant and long-term trends in the field of big data analytics, they will also discuss the challenges and opportunities, including those within the framework of the goals and objectives of Russia's national projects and international cooperation priorities. The event will also provide answers to the question as to which trends in the field of Big Data will really lead to the creation of strategic advantages and which will only lead to unjustified "wastes".
The moderator is Evgeny Szhyonov, scientific director of the Expert Analytical Centre "Scientific and Educational Policy", member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
Among the speakers there will be Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation; Andrey Sanosyan, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region; Vladimir Tatarintsev, Director for Strategic Project Development, Rostelecom; Oleg Trofimov, Rector of Lobachevsky University; and Yuri Saprykin, Deputy Director of the Management Board, Skolkovo Foundation.
