On July 7, Alexander Bedny, UNN Vice-Rector for International Affairs, met with international student activists.

Regular communication with international students helps the university to better understand the current problems and to discuss the most topical issues related to young people's stay on campus and in Russia as a whole.

Student life isn't just about classes, sessions, tests and exams, it is also an interesting and fulfilling social activity. Given the fact that representatives of more than 100 countries of the world study at Lobachevsky University, it is a real kaleidoscope of cultures and traditions!
The dialogue format of the meeting gave all participants the opportunity to ask questions and to sum up together the various extra-curricular activities that had been carried out during the year.

Alexander Bedny thanked all those present for their proactive stance and willingness to implement various activities aimed at the integration and adaptation of international students into the student community and in the life of Nizhny Novgorod.
The meeting also included the awarding of commemorative diplomas to the most active participants in the Lobachevsky UniverSum Festival of Cultures. According to Alexander Bedny, the event is an excellent example of integration activities. In 2022, the festival reached even a higher level - for the first time it was held at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair grounds rather than on the Lobachevsky University campus.

At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their wish to step up social activism and to exchange ideas on the implementation of various socially important and interesting projects.
