We are together!

International students of Lobachevsky University won second place in the competition of videos dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The competition that brought together teams from 10 universities of Nizhny Novgorod was part of the training programme "We are together!" organized by the Nizhny Novgorod Research and Information Centre,

In their video, UNN international students spoke in their national languages (dubbed with subtitles) about their countries' contribution to the common victory over fascism, and emphasised the importance of defence enterprises in the city of Gorky during the Great Patriotic War. This is especially symbolic as in 2020 Nizhny Novgorod was awarded the honorary title of the City of Labour Valour. The awarding ceremony for the competition winners took place on 30 October in the Nizhny Novgorod House of Scientists.
