Winners of the Olympiad "Future Researchers - Future of Science" honoured at Lobachevsky University
The results of the Olympiad for school students "Future Researchers - Future of Science" were summed up at Lobachevsky University. Students of grades 7-11 from 58 regions of Russia and six countries - about 30 thousand persons - took part in the Olympiad. A total of 429 students are on the list of winners and prize-winners.
The Olympiad is included in the list of competitions for school students, which give privileges when entering a higher education institution. It is held in 6 subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, Russian language, history and biology.
"Working with talented school students is a strategic issue for Lobachevsky University. Our university has a lot of projects, and we have created the Advanced Engineering School. Now a world-class IT campus is being built for you. When you come to the university, you will have a lot of opportunities. There will be new laboratory areas, a sports and recreation centre, and comfortable dormitories. I congratulate all the winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad. We have a very extensive Olympiad, both in terms of the number of participants and their geography. This is your colossal success! Each year more than 60 winners and prize-winners of this Olympiad become students of Lobachevsky University," said Nikita Avralev, UNN Vice-Rector for Strategic Development.
The school students were presented with diplomas and gifts.
