Yandex Education launches programmes for UNN students

Yandex Education has designed unified programmes for future frontend and backend developers. Starting from the new academic year, these programmes will be launched in 19 universities across Russia, including Lobachevsky University. The new educational modules will be integrated into the curriculum of the Software Engineering programme.

Second- and third-year students will learn Python and JavaScript, Django backend, using API services, object-oriented programming, server infrastructure management, and other topics that will help them acquire in-demand IT competencies. The programmes include project work and practical workshops with industry case studies. The students' final projects will be evaluated by both teachers and expert practitioners from Yandex.

Yandex is one of Lobachevsky University's strategic partners. The UNN Institute of Information Technology, Mathematics and Mechanics hosts educational programmes of the Yandex Lyceum for high school students, as well as educational programmes implemented jointly with the Yandex School of Data Analysis for masters.
