Lobachevsky University students won the Russian Combat Sambo Championship that was held in Kstovo on September 29-30. More than 300 athletes from 35 regions of Russia took part in the tournament.

Students of the UNN Faculty of Physical Education and Sports showed excellent results: Maxim Rogozhin won a gold medal, while Ivan Zaitsev won silver. Both athletes competed in the weight class under  64 kg.
