On June 6 and 14, a number of students of the FIS Preparatory Department  visited Gymnasium No. 184, where they took part in the annual summer recreation camp for schoolchildren "Speaker". The aim of English-speaking foreign students’ meetings with the gymnasium pupils was to help them develop their practical language skills and to engage in a face-to-face cultural exchange.

Students representing different countries, Maria Suzanne Abrahamse (Netherlands), Emma Jeanne Cisar and Kevin Youngblood (USA), Martin James Sawyer (UK), tried on the role of English teachers conducting unusual lessons where they shared with schoolchildren their impressions of Russia, talked about their studies at Lobachevsky University, discussed the weather, football, and traditional Russian cuisine. Gymnasium students admitted that these were the most interesting lessons they had ever had.
