On June 7, within the framework of the 5th International Forum of Higher Educational Institutions organized by the Expert RA Agency, the award ceremony was held for Russia’s best universities listed in the sixth RAEX ranking.  Lobachevsky University became a laureate in the category "Development of infrastructure for scientific research" and was awarded a Diploma of Honour. The Forum’s organizers and participants highly appreciated UNN’s efforts aimed at radically improving the research base and developing breakthrough areas in science and technology. The University was represented at the Forum by its Rector Evgeny Chuprunov, Vice-Rector for Public Relations Nikita Avralev, and Head of the Public Relations and Media Sector Irina Efimova. According to Professor Chuprunov, UNN is engaged in unique research in today’s most vital areas.
