On January 27, 2017 the Arsenal in the Kremllin of Nizhni Novgorod hosted the events of the VI Regional Award "Silver Archer" - Volga region.  Following the public presentations of the authors of 27 projects included in the short list, the jury has selected the winners in nine categories. In the nomination "Social Communication", the winner is the Science Festival of Life, the Universe and Everything "42" (authors: Lydia Kravchenko, Anna Lazareva, Science Park of the Nizhni Novgorod State University “Lobachevsky Lab”).  In the opinion of the jury, the best project is the "XXXVI World Bandy Championship" (Ulyanovsk city). According to the rules, it is included in the short list of the National "Silver Archer" Award. The authors of the project will make their presentation at the National Award event in the middle of February and will be able to compete for the grand prize - a statuette of the Silver Archer.

The annual open competition of PR projects for the "Silver Archer" Award in the Volga region has been taking place in Nizhni Novgorod since 2011.
