Tuition fees are completely covered by the state funding. The recipient is also provided with a monthly allowance and a standard place in the UNN student dormitory on the same terms as Russian students, whose tuition is being paid by the Russian Government. All the expenses related to travel, pick-up services and medical insurance on the territory of the Russian Federation and the prolongation of their visa are covered by the scholarship recipient.

 Upon arrival foreign students must have a passport, original educational documents with transcripts (certified with consular legalization or apostille), medical certificates of good health including HIV + AIDS certificates and 6 color photos (3x4 cm) on matte paper.

Your previous education background is to be recognised before the official enrollment. The UNN Centre for International Credentials Expertise will manage this procedure for free - you need only to submit the required set of documents upon arrival.

 Foreign students are recommended to have suitable clothing (according to the climate conditions of Central Russia) and to have some cash for initial expenses.

 Foreign students must cover all expenses for medical checking and health insurance covering one year on the territory of the Russian Federation (approx. 90 USD). More information on arrival can be found here

 In accordance with the Migration Law of the Russian Federation foreign students must arrive at UNN no later than 30 days before their entry visas expire.

 Host institutions shall not be held responsible for organizing visits and stay of the students’ relatives on the territory of Russia and providing them with housing.
