On March 10, a Bolivian delegation visited Lobachevsky University. The delegation included Alex Diaz Mamani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Plurinational State of Bolivia in the Russian Federation, and Sonia Carballo Mamani, employee of the Embassy. They were accompanied by the consultant of the Department for Foreign and Interregional Relations Nina Krasilnikova. University Rector Evgeny Chuprunov held a working meeting with the members of the delegation. The meeting was also attended by Alexander Bedny, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Irina Leonova, Head of International Office and Konstantin Kemaev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty for International Students. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the region, to establish ties and develop cooperation between Bolivia and the Nizhni Novgorod region. Currently, four students from Bolivia are enrolled  the UNN Faculty for International Students. Alex Diaz Mamani expressed his hope for the strengthening of cooperation between Lobachevsky University and the universities of Bolivia.
