MASTER & PHD PROGRAMMES

 

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES

The admission for undergraduate programmes is open for the applicants with secondary school certificate or vocational training diploma as education background. There are two types of undergraduate education in Russia – Bacherlor`s (4 years) and Specialist`s (5-6 years) tracks.

BACHELOR' S DEGREE is a standard undergraduate programme of higher education. The academic workload usually comprises 240 credits (ECTS). After obtaining a Bachelor's degree, the graduates are eligible to continue studying at any Master`s programmes.

SPECIALIST PROGRAMME is a special applied programme of higher education. The academic workload usually comprises 300-360 credits (ECTS). After graduation and obtaining a
Specialist’s diploma, alumni are eligible to enter any postgraduate programme (Master, Ph.D., and Residency for medical students).

PROGRAMMES TAUGHT IN RUSSIAN
The applicants who need foundation or additional training in the Russian language and profiled disciplines can enter the preparatory courses  before their degree studies. In relevance with the future major, it is possible to choose one of the following areas: Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Economics, Life & Medical Sciences, and Natural Sciences. Graduates of the foundation programme receive an appropriate UNN certificate. It is also possible to obtain an International Certificate of Russian Language based on the results of the official multi-level test of Russian as a Foreign Language (TORFL).
