TO THE WINNERS AND PRIZE-WINNERS OF THE OLYMPIAD
The winners and runners-up are established separately by different Olympiad tracks & subject areas in accordance with the Rules of the Olympiad. They are to satisfy to the following basic requirements to benefit the UNN privileges:
- educational background (level of previous education) eligible to enter the chosen study programme;
- upper intermediate proficiency (B1/2 or TORFL-1/2) in the language of instruction – Russian or English. The Olympiad awardees who need foundation or additional training in the Russian language and profiled disciplines can enter the preparatory courses before their degree studies in Russian.
- to provide in due time a package of documents required for candidate`s registration in the information database of the Russian Ministry of Science & Higher Education.
The Russian Ministry of Science & Higher Education will take the final decision on the scholarship approval.
UNN BENEFITS & PRIVILEGES FOR THE OLYMPIAD WINNERS
- priority admission to UNN English- & Russian-taught undergraduate, Master and PhD programmes, fully funded within the quota established by the Russian Government.
- guaranteed on-campus accommodation in the student dormitory on a discounted cost.
- monthly academic allowance (approximately 2000+ Russian rubles) regardless the results of current academic performance.
- additional scholarships for academic, scientific & social activities at UNN.
- 20% discount to the tuition and accommodation fees for the first year of degree studies (in the case of studying on a fee-paid basis).
BENEFITS AND PRIVILEGES FOR THE RUNNERS-UP OF THE UNN OLYMPIAD
- non-priority admission to UNN English- & Russian-taught undergraduate, Master and PhD programmes, fully funded within the quota established by the Russian Government (the runners-up are included into the reserve list of candidates for the scholarship; the scholarship within the quota is available for them according to the residual principle after allocation of places to all interested winners)
- 20% discount to the tuition and accommodation fees for the first year of degree studies (in the case of studying on a fee-paid basis).
- if the runners-up obtain scholarships within the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation, they will benefit the same advantages & privileges as the Olympiad winners.
