MASTER`S TRACK

The awardees of the Olympiad Master`s Track are welcome to enter UNN Master programmes taught in English or in Russian. Please pay attention that those who have already completer Master studies in Russia and obtained Russian Certificate of Master Degree, can not benefit the scholarship under the quota of the Russian Government.

 

MASTER'S DEGREE (2 years) is an academic or applied postgraduate programme. The admission is open for the applicants who completed an undergraduate programme (Bachelor's or Specialist) regardless the major of the previous degree. The academic workload usually comprises 120 credits (ECTS). After obtaining a Master`s degree, the alumni are eligible to continue studying at Ph.D. level.

ENGLISH-TAUGHT MASTER PROGRAMMES

Classes are entirely taught in English within international groups of students. Russian language is included into curriculum as a foreign language. The required proficiency in academic English is B2 (upper intermediate or B1/2), and language certificate is not a mandatory document for admission.

PRE-UNIVERSITY RUSSIAN LANGUAGE TRAINING (FOUNDATION COURSE)

The Olympiad awardees who need foundation or additional training in the Russian language and profiled disciplines can enter the preparatory courses before their degree studies. In relevance with the future major, it is possible to choose one of the following areas: Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Economics, Life & Medical Sciences, and Natural Sciences. Graduates of the programme receive an appropriate UNN certificate. It is also possible to obtain an International Certificate of Russian Language based on the results of the official multi-level test of Russian as a Foreign Language (TORFL).
