As a member of the "Global Universities" Association, Lobachevsky University (UNN) welcomes you to join the cohort of undergraduate (Bachelor & Specialist), Master or Ph.D. students on privileged terms and to get your chance for early admission to a tuition-free degree programme at one of the leading universities in Russia!
What's in it for you?
The Olympiad winners will be enrolled to the undergraduate, postgraduate or Ph.D. programmes at one of the leading Russian universities without entrance examinations and completely free of charge (Russian Government finances 100% of the tuition fee, including the cost of the pre-university Foundation course, if necessary for better mastery of Russian language).
The Olympiad awardees will benefit some advantages & privileges offered by UNN.

Who can participate?
Foreign citizens, stateless people or Russian compatriots with a relevant education background (including prospective alumni 2025/2026) are eligible to take part in
- Bachelor`s track – Higher School certificate or College Vocational Diploma background is required.
- Master`s track – Bachelor, Specialist or Master degree background is required.
- Ph.D./Doctoral track – Specialist or Master degree background is required.
In what languages will the Olympiad be conducted?
Olympiad will be conducted in Russian or in English languages (on participant`s choice).
When and in what format does the Olympiad take place?
The Olympiad is held remotely every year from September till next February in Russian or English language, and comprises the portfolio contest and Olympiad`s tasks solving for all tracks & Subject areas. The finalists of Ph.D. and postdoctoral tracks are also to pass special professional interviews with their prospective scientific supervisor/team leader.
